RNAS WWI Trinket Box

A period box made from a first World War laminated propeller. Inscribed on base "George Hale Royal Naval Air Service August 1917 - April 1918. Royal Air Force April 1918 - November 1919. Landed in France 4th November 1917. Left France 15th October 1919." Included with this item is a British War Medal and Ribbon engraved 236616.2. A.M. G. Hale RAF, together with two carved pendants which were found inside the box. An interesting item for further research.
