| A Scrubbing Brush! - unique item of WWII RAF Memorabilia, with Battle of Britain associations. A Scrubbing Brush which belonged to G. Gillingham, who flew Hurricanes with 46 Squadron - he was nicknamed "scrubby"! This brush was presented to him when he left the squadron - it was autographed by the surviving pilots under the caption "from the lucky ones". Purchased via the pilot's daughter. 46 Squadron, part of 12 Group, was based at Digby and Stapleford Tawney during the Battle of Britian.

| 'Windmill' Propeller - four bladed, from a WWII Miles Martinet Target Tug Aircraft. Would have been mounted horizontally on the wing to power the aircraft's drogue winch. 92 cm diameter.

| Irvin Flight Suit - RAF, comprising a jacket as detailed (Ref. 230) with matching pair of flying trousers (Ref. 264) complete with original zips.

| Navigators Tunic Jacket - RAF/RCAF Issue, complete with padded brevet, Kings Crown brass buttons (Made in Canada) and makers label Orth, London & Canada. Chest c.40" (103 cm). Some mothing but overall nice wartime example with correct half belt.

| Silk Scarf - of the type worn by fighter pilots in WWII. White with black tassels. Measures 146 cm. Has a collectable CC41 marked label (Controlled Clothing Price), introduced during the war to ensure a standard for all items available on the market and often seen on blankets, etc. Good used condition.

| Flying (?) Boots - a pair, unidentified fur lined, approx. size 8 (42). Memal grain black leather upper, leather sole with rubber repair to forepart.

| Escape Boots - RAF Issue, 1943 pattern, Ref. 22C/920 size 8 (42). Original brass zips, some service wear but overall excellent. Lacking knife to remove tops in occupied territory.

| Flying Boots - RAF, 1940 pattern, Ref. 22C/440. Size 10 (44) Have been mismatched at some stage, but appear to have been worn as a pair, both named to "Beaton". Original A.M. stamped Lightning zips, professionally resoled, excellent galosh. Rare to find such a nice example in large size.

| Irvin Flying Jacket - RAF, issued in 1942 as a replacement. The owner, a Hurricane pilot, lost his previous one when he was shot down over the English Channel. His personal identification "B" (Bob) is still painted on the chest. All original A.M. zips, some repair sections, but superb historical jacket. Chest size approx. 41" (104 cm).
